Amy Withington

Amy joined New Century Media as an Account Manager in April 2026 with experience working in Parliament and as an in-house political advisor to an education sector trade body. She specialises in targeted political campaigns, media relations, and external stakeholder engagement.

In her previous role working for a senior Conservative politician, she helped shape the narrative around major policy and fiscal events – such as the Government’s decision to means test the Winter Fuel Allowance and the Opposition response to the Chancellor’s Budget in 2024. Amy also worked as a strategist on a Conservative Party leadership campaign, acting as a spokesperson and driving press engagement and grassroots membership mobilisation.

Amy has an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of York and wrote her dissertation on ideological attitudes towards immigration, focusing on the New Labour years through to Brexit. She has a particular interest in education policy and much of her recent work prior to joining New Century Media focused on special educational needs reform.
